I remember that this was during the part where some girl was giving an annoying narration about her losing her girlfriend. Part of the narration was something to do with the Iraq War (or what the narration says "America's War" *Haha*). So I'm suspecting the footage is from an aftermath of a terror attack in London. I could be wrong, though. |

It looks like the archive news footage of the 7/7 Bombings that occurred on the Number 30 bus in Tavistock and on the C Stock 69 and 77 trains numbered 204 on the Circle Line between Liverpool Street and Aldgate Underground Stations and 216 also on the Circle Line between Kings Cross St. Pancras and Paddington Underground Stations and on the 1973 stock train numbered 311 between Kings Cross and St. Pancras and Russell Square. -- Last edit: 2016-10-17 05:05:35 |

Movie came out in December 2005 and filmed from 7 March 2005 - 9 June 2005 so maybe? I can't picture the footage being picked up that quickly before post production began. Maybe some IRA thing? All the vehicles don't look past 2000 and the main ambulance looks brand new. |

It could be the archive news footage of the London Nail Bombings committed by British Neo-Nazi militant, David Copeland in various locations around London between the 17th and the 30th April 1999. The bombings were caused by three nail bombs that were left in various locations around and London: First Bombing - Detonated outside the Iceland Supermarket on Electric Avenue in Brixton, South London on the afternoon of the 17th April 1999, was originally supposed to be detonate at the Brixton Markets up the road from the supermarket but was moved several times by suspicious market traders. The bomb resulted in 48 injured, including a toddler with a nail driven into the skull. Second Bombing - Detonated in the boot of a car outside of the Empee Silk Fabrics store on Brick Lane in Whitechapel, East End of London on the afternoon of the 24th April, was originally supposed to be detonated in Brick Lane where a street market is held, but due to the street being less busy as the 24th April was a Saturday and the market were held every Sunday. As a result, the bag containing the bomb was left in Hanbury Street where it was picked up by a passerby who tried to take the bag to a nearby local police station but was unable to do so, as the police station where he took the bag to, was closed. As a result, the passerby placed the bag in the boot of his car where it detonated, the bomb had resulted in 13 injured. Third Bombing - Detonated at the Admiral Duncan Pub on Old Compton Street at Soho in the West End on the evening of the 30th April, the bombing killed three, a pregnant woman and two friends who were out celebrating the woman's pregnancy and injured 79, including the woman's husband who was with her and the two friends as they were celebrating their first child. Out the 79 injured, four had to have their badly damaged limbs amputated. -- Last edit: 2022-10-03 17:07:37 |
