looks like a spanish LUNA crane, also makes perfect sense given their strong economical ties with Morocco

Not really. The crane itself hasn't such a big role. Maybe 2* but 3 is too much it hasn't that much screentime.

hmm cabin looks more like this with larger front side window and main seems to have twin front axle
