It's lovely that this car's still alive :) would be nice to see in which condition, though

Actually that doesn't prove that it still exists. If there was a "date of liability" in the future (the date when road tax expires), we could be reasonably sure that it was still on the road.

As it is alive in episode 16, which was filmed in 2006, it is rather likely that it still exists.

DVLA: Date of Liability 01 05 2008

It is currently taxed for road use.

I'm planning to convert an Airfix 1:72 scale Opel Blitz model kit into this truck.

If you look at the picture in the link below, you can see the trucks got a diferent number plate, wich means more than one truck was used for filming.

Trainboy the truck in your link is indeed the same one, if you look you will see the actual number plate on the dashboard behind the windscreen

Petrol engine is 2.2 litres.

Diesel engine is 3.4 litres.

Information above says 3.4 litre petrol. Is there an error somewhere?

PYB906 is a different truck to TGC220, though both appeared in the show. After TGC went off the road, PYB attended some vehicle rallies carrying TGC's reg in the windscreen, but did not carry it in the show - TGC has black wings, PYB maroon
