Possibly a 1954-59 Albion Chieftain FT107? |

Not Albion Reiver? |

Although I can only compare it with what is available on the web it looks to me like the FT107 series 1954-1959. Introduced in 1954 the FT107N, a lightweight six wheeler which was initially sold under the model name 'Chieftain', but was renaimed 'Reiver' and 'K' suffix in 1957. So Chieftain or Reiver is possible depending on its year of manufacture. PF series 1955-1959, looks to have a different cab although I can only find two pictures? Leyland-engined Reivers and Clydesdale. http://www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=1410 |

Could also be a Clansman FT103N , fairly sure cab will be a local build- http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p208332838/h213049D1#h2a16cb43 -- Last edit: 2014-04-09 14:21:38 |

Very bad name for a vehicle sold in Africa... Local assembly? AFAIK, Leyland Motors assembled CKD kits in Zambia. |
