Since this vehicle is British it is unlikely that it would have been called a Thames 800 in Britain. They were known here as the 10/12cwt or 15cwt, dependant on carrying capacity, we hadn't yet (and in some cases haven't yet, mine's a pint) gone metric. |

'Thames 10cwt Personnel Carrier' [400E] only in the last year of production were they called Fords. There was also a 'Thames Estate Car' [400E] version with different seating, but this was rarer being more expensive, which can be identified having bumper over-riders. ![]() |
