This car belongs to Pete, Shaun's roommate. As a part of the plan in which he goes to pick up his girlfriend Liz, he decides to borrow Pete's car. Upon discovering that Pete has become one of the zombies, he and his friend Ed go without him. On the way to Liz's apartment, they hit this guy but he then turns out to be just another zombie. After they pick up Liz, they go to Shaun's mom's house. Ed is facinated with the Jaguar parked in the driveway, and he is told to stay outside and wait in the car. When Shaun comes back out he discovers the front end of the car completely smashed against a telephone pole. When asked about what happened, Ed sheepishly replies "Erm, I pranged it..." So then they are forced to take the Jag. |

You got that wrong modell, they don't pick Liz up in this car, Shaun goes to his parents house first and takes the Jag to Liz's. |

Did anyone spot the continuity error with the Renault badge on the front of this car when we first see it parked in the street, outside Shaun's house? The badge is not there at the start of the film, (I think it's when Shaun first walks to the corner shop) then it appears in a later shot. I can't believe I noticed that but there you go... |

This reminds me something, so I guess that I noticed that too when I watched the movie. |

That is correct: Registration T108JVM is registered to a Ford Focus. I think they used at least a couple of Meganes during filming, the one in the main image has an RT badge on the side trim, but one in a different scene had a 1.6t badge. |

But there is another continuity error. The Renault badge is only seen during Shaun's pre-outbreak routine, specifically where he buys a can of Coca-Cola, but in the title sequence, and in his post-outbreak routine (where he buys Diet Coke), the badge is gone. But the weirdest part is that when the car is "pranged", the place where the badge should be is visible, but there is no badge at all! This is really starting to confuse me. |
