Roof-line of the Humber was more sloping down and a bit lower: heighth of the Humber was 145 cm, of the Hillman 148 cm, so a difference of about an inch. Roof of Singer and Hillman were equal. In the late sixties my parents had a second hand Hillman Super Minx and our neighbours a Humber Sceptre (and a Sunbeam Rapier as second car). So it was quite easy to see the difference... |
