dsl ◊ 2010-09-23 13:48	Although rear badges are blurred in inset, I think they say Jaguar Sovereign, and grille in main has V12 badge. So 1984+ Jaguar Sovereign HE.

By the way, the Series III XJ12 and XJ6 had the same grille (only the Series I and II had V badges), although the XJ12 might have had a gold badge (this is just a guess though). dsl ◊ 2011-07-19 19:38	But note difference from central grille bar badge here and the definitely V12 Sovereign at /vehicle_190151-Jaguar-Sovereign-V12-Series-III-1989.html . It may not be the sequence I expected, but there are definite processes at work.

There is no badge on the central grille bar here, that's just the shaping of the central bar seen from a sideways angle (it's not a 'V').
