 1984 because this colour was for export only in 1983 and added to the Italian market for 1984.

It's Wikipeda's mistake, caused by author's 'thought cut cornering' and misunderstanding how worked this 'cut-off system'. It was electromagnetic vavle in carburettor, cutting off petrol flow through every nozzles, on engine braking mode only (to around 1300-1700 rpm for avoiding unpleasant engine's hestitation and vibration). The ES engines run idle as usual.
