Looks just the same... the listing I found suggests the year 1939. |

this is a Lagonda LG6 Rapide, not V12, this has the exposed horns of the LG, the horns were under a cowl on the V12 |

This car is also used in an episode of Boris Karloff's Thriller, God Grante She Lye Still. |

I'm watching this right now. When he first pulled up in it I wasn't sure what it was, maybe some kind of Bentley? I wonder if the engine sound used in the episode is the actual car's? It sounds great. ![]() |

In the Twilight Zone episode the car goes through a fence and hits a stack of cardboard boxes. As the car pulls out of the boxes you can see an elaborate brush guard mounted on the front of the vehicle, then suddenly it is gone again. |

The first killer car in motion picture history, predating Duel by 11 years! |

According to a Wikipedia article, the LG6 Rapide is VERY rare, only 2 sold from the production run, but it DOES agree with the horns being outside the cowl, as the V-12 version had the horns inside the cowl. The V12 also had the chassis stretched a scooch. |
