Possibly a Clayton & Shuttleworth steam wagon, with the details being similar to this example... -- Last edit: 2015-03-08 12:12:19 |

Nice ID. Seems 5-ton wagon would fit - http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/images/b/b9/Im1917Red-p196.jpg , http://www.itsaboutlincoln.co.uk/uploads/2/0/1/8/20183351/4379346_orig.jpg , http://www.lentontimes.co.uk/streets/queries_page.htm |

Based on dsl’s first link, this model was introduced in 1916. |

Further information about the source of the above Clayton & Shuttleworth steam wagon picture, it was in the Commercial Motor Magazine 12th December 1912. http://archive.commercialmotor.com/page/12th-december-1912/18 Its "the company's new three-ton steam wagon", however its unlikely there were many differences between the 3-ton and 5-ton wagons apart from the cylinder sizes as quoted in dsl's Graces Guide link. |

So 1913 3-ton probably safer. |
