Something doesn't look right about it... It might be a Escort? |

I was also thinking to an Escort rather than a Tempo. |

1984 Ford Tempo sedan [url=http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/080b.jpg#]1985 Ford Escort[/url . Has to be an Escort, not a Tempo. |

I'm afraid it is a Tempo. The Escort wasn't available as a sedan until '91. This car is certainly not a second generation Escort, and the Escort hatchback's trunk lid (?) wasn't as long as on this car. I believe it's just an '86 or '87 Tempo (as it appears to have flush headlamps). |

You're correct Hecubus, I didnt recognize it as a Tempo, until I saw it upside down. Yup, its a Tempo alright. |

1984-1985 Tempo, not 1986. If it were an 86 It would have a different grille and taillights. |

Looked like the rear wheels were spinning after it crashed and overturned, so I'd say it's an AWD version (I didn't get a good look at the underside). -- Last edit: 2012-12-11 03:31:46 |

The AWD didn't come out until 1986 model year. Probably free wheeling |
