Isn't it a Big Job or a Super Duty? |

1958 Heavy Duty or Extra Heavy Duty truck:![]() ![]() (Excerpts from the 1958 brochure covers - The drawings inside the brochures don't show differences between the trucks) Any model from F-700 to F-1100: ![]() ![]() (Excerpts from the excerpts ![]() ⇒ just a 1958 F-Series? (Super Duty was in fact the name of the engine. And the 1960 F-700 you are referring to is a 1959-60 model, apparently a F-700 to F-1100 too) -- Last edit: 2015-04-28 05:30:12 |

Elmer is right, and I believe this isn't anything else but the '58. |

For the record, 1957-60 Heavy Duty and Extra Heavy Duty trucks front faces: ![]() ![]() (1957 // 1958) ![]() ![]() (1959 // 1960) I was wrong about the Super Duty name: it was first the name of the engines, but Ford apparently used it also for the 1960 F-850 to F-1100 models. From what I understood, the name of these trucks was: • 1957: Big Job models; • 1958 & 1959: Extra Heavy Duty models; • 1960: Super Duty models. -- Last edit: 2015-04-28 19:45:04 |
