Daimler, definitely. Possibly 'Majestic'? |

It's for the car on the right in the second image. The DS420 is identified in www.imcdb.org/vehicle_81252-Daimler-DS-420-Limousine.html |

Its either a Daimler Majestic 101 1958-1962 or Daimler Majestic Major 1960-1968 I believe. edit. The front shows it to be a Majestic Major 1960-1968, by the two circular grills either side of the radiator grill. -- Last edit: 2007-01-20 15:51:01 |

The location is Adela Street in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea just off Kensal Road and near the big Sainsbury's superstore. The yard has been replaced by flats but the garage survives. |

I don't think there was a Majestic limousine, only the Majestic Major. The MM saloon is model DQ450 and the MM limousine model DR450. The Majestic also had grilles there, but the Major had V8 cast into them. |

But I miss foglamps. |

With the help of the thumbnail it's possible to see that it's indeed a 1962+ ( introduced September 1961 ) DR450 - the limousine version of the V8 Majestic Major and the last all-Daimler car made. |

xxx FLY series allocated "in blocks" Mar 63 - Jan 64. Interesting that we have another DR450 with 194 FLY here. -- Last edit: 2017-10-14 16:43:20 |

The Majestic did not have the two smaller grilles in the front wings |
