 Described as 1929 in commentary but GN 6176 was a 1931 plate. American artist Clark Fay wants to have a thatched roof car so he gets local thatcher (I hate writing that word, even in this context) to make a little hat ....

 GN series was Dec 30 to March 31, so 6176 likely to be within RL date range until Feb 31, and not the RM replacement.
