Only seen in the day-for-night. The actress driving is Monique Darbaud, the only one with Raymond Rouleau and Bernard La Jarrige ever present in each of the three Georges Masse adventures, each time with a more important part. -- Last edit: 2015-06-18 20:44:30 |

The speedometer gives it away as an Alfa Romeo... My guess is a late 6C 2300B with Pinin Farina body. |

Any of your guess is revealed truth to me, fortengo. (But I feel like Thomas: I'm gonna check the shape of a 6C 2300B first.) |

Mmmh… What about the running boards? |

This one looks pretty similar, and also the running board is present... And here is a close-up of a (different) '39 Alfa 6C 2300B speedometer. |

I must, of course, pour just a little cold water on one point. here same car is given as 1934 by company exhibiting but as fortengo says ours has the same Jaeger speedometer as the 1939 https://www.flickr.com/photos/anhn_hehn/8965447319/in/photostream/ here speedometer of 1934 Pinnin Farina https://www.flickr.com/photos/anhn_hehn/8966635706/in/photostream/ -- Last edit: 2015-06-19 01:04:30 |

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_6C#Specifications_3 gives 1935 for the car built by Alfa Romeo. And we have 1937 for 6C 2300 B and Pininfarina, but as Berlinetta. So, what can we conclude, André? |
◊ 2015-06-20 03:43 |
both years are correct by salomonic judgement, as Alfa Romeo built chassis in 1935 while Pinin Farina might have used it 1937+ Link to "www.ebay.de" once again this original ad showing the car still has been offered in 1938 -- Last edit: 2015-06-20 15:35:12 |
