Even if 'Chapron' is not readable, the style is unmistakenly Chapron :)
License plate is from 1948.

Another side note: there is also a scene shot in the French TV studios, with Jean Nohain, famous at that time as a TV animator. He was in real life Claude Dauphin's brother, and shared here a smiling scene with him.
