Looks like Jaguar D-Type racing car, it is a two seater roadster. But is it genuine or replica? |

Unless it has been modified for road use...the orange turn signal and style of headlight makes me think its a replica. Works Jaguar D-type |

And if was a tarmac-spec(derived by racing D-type)XK SS,built in small series(practically under request)by 1957 to 1959?.......... |

Datsun is correct but the timeframe was more like 55-57. The factory burned down and they stopped making this model entirely. |

The windscreen/windshield is completely different on the XK SS it is glass and has a full frame surrounding it. It is not the perspex/racing type shown in the main picture. Removal of the glass windscreen would be a massive modification to such a rare vehicle. |

It is a Jaguar D-type, or better, and XK-D. And it is an original, since I doubt that there are replicas with hand-beaten alloy bodies. |

An aluminium bodied replica is available. But they are very expensive! "The full aluminium monocoque version is virtually indistinguishable from an original D type." http://www.ciltd.co.uk/Replica/dtype.htm |

I don't think so. The xk-ss has bumbers and different park lights. |
