Another unit where I can't match fixtures to any of the other entries. Housing looks London-ish?? |

Maybe it is Scotland and it is an Albion Merryweather???? - https://www.flickr.com/photos/shanecasey51/14319733905 I think the equipment is Merryweather even if the chassis turns out to be something else. |

Looking at the movie again, I believe the footage could still from London rather than Scotland and Leyland or Dennis would be most likely. It has a lot in common with this 1937 Leyland 'DJH 523' here the sister fire engine to (the one that) had a starring role in the 1962 film Go to Blazes. /vehicle_785668-Leyland-Tigress-FT-1932.html Enlarged details to compare bulkhead, windscreen and ladder/support details etc. Another similar 1937 Leyland FT https://www.flickr.com/photos/zacks_classic_cars/8799137306 |

The line of rivet heads along the bonnet and the spacing with the bonnet side hinge looks identical, so the Leyland Tigress FT very possible. |
