Isn't it "Lansing Bagnall" like the others rather than just "Lansing"? |

I saw the make when it was driving across in the movie, it read only 'Lansing'. Therefor I assumed it was a 'Lansing'.... |

I have found Lansing forklifts (types H80, H90 and H120) dating from 1991 when Linde took control of Lansing Bagnall from 1989 but this is after the 1987 date for this mini-series. |

It's Hermes, most probably 40 TR, produced originally by the Henley Forklift Limited. In 1976 Henley was acquired by Lansing Bagnall and Hermes line of forklifts were distributed under the brand Lansing Henley. Here --> Link to "heavycherry.com" --> Hermes from 1987, with nice name plate with visible name and serial number (starting from 87, then forklift isn't built in 1996): ![]() Other, smaller Lansing Henley Hermes 32 TR, from 1986 (and with proper name plate): http://www.equipsellsit.com/listing/47701/1986-lansing-henley-hermes-32tr |
