Crew Cab with a Wide-side bed And although Elmer disagreed previously with regards to "Rounded Line" that's what they are as noted truck historian Tom Brownell states.. Brownell, Tom "Rounded-Line Models, 1973–1987" Chevrolet Pickup Color History (Truck Color History) Chapter 9, pp. 88–89 Chevrolet/GMC Rounded-Line". www.chevytrucks.org. |

@ supcoach: I don't "agree" or "disagree". I know perfectly that name, use it from time to time, but the fact is that as far as I know the Rounded Line name never appeared as sales name on any official document. And for the record, it doesn't appear either on the page you link. You should check the references and texts given in Wikipedia rather than just copy-paste them ![]() The official name of this truck line was C/K-Series, and these models also often appear as Full-size pickups/models in brochures. I don't understand why you insist on this Rounded Line name? _____ 1983-84 grille indeed on a 2WD C-Series, with the Wideside bed (1977+ writing) as already said by supcoach. But I'm not sure a Crew Cab can be identified here over a Bonus Cab with what is visible in this picture. Unless someone can see the rear seats of a Crew Cab model, as it was the only difference? Both Bonus Cab and Crew Cab where available for C-2500 and C-3500 trucks, the dual rear wheels being just an option for the latter. -- Last edit: 2015-10-13 00:51:33 |
