Rounded belt line of a 1958+ model plus the headlamps location and grille of a 1958-61 Series II / 1961-68 Series IIa (1969-71 Series IIa and 1971-85 Series III had the headlamps on the wings). If I'm not mistaken, the clues helping to differentiate between the two models are not visible in this picture. In both case, a 4-door model implies a 109"/2.77 m wheelbase. |

Balance of probabilities says S11A , definitely a 109in Station Wagon. This model often called a Landrover 'Safari' in UK but never an official model name. |

Faked plates. a) idiotic, not having a historic plates b) AFAIK the 1972-expired combination for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Staffelstein didn't came back until now. If yes, a) would count, as it's definitely not n authentic combination c) goof: buildings made with red brickstones exist in Northern and Northwest Germany, not in the South as Bavaria. |
