I don't recognise the body being from a specific maker, the front end could suggest its a Bedford SB bus or coach chassis that was shortened at the back. However under the new body the chassis could be SB (wheelbase 206") or a J-type truck chassis (wheelbase 167") that has been changed to forward control. The wheelbase looks more like the SB to me and rather too long for the J-type. -- Last edit: 2015-10-23 19:41:59 |

I agree , looks like an SB to me. Fairly sure body is by Lambourn ( often spelt Lambourne on net ! ) as side flashes very typical. http://www.travellerhomes.co.uk/?p=798 -- Last edit: 2015-10-29 07:50:55 |

It does look to be a Lambourn body, although I had forgotten them, they appeared to be quite up-market looking horseboxes. A Commer based Lambourn horsebox seen here |
