The front entrance door does not look like other Duple or SMT Bedford OBs that I have found, being set further forward in the bus. If its not a false number plate, CDL 752 looks to have a Newport Isle of Wight registration. |

I reckon this might be CDL792, a 1939 Bedford WTB with Duple body, a 26 seater shorter than the classic 29 seat Bedford OB |

Well done...shorter body. So that's why the front entrance door is like it is? Pre-war as well. ![]() edit: picture link added http://www.bedfordob.com/gallery/cdl792.php The vehicle details for CDL 792 are: Date of Liability 01 09 1997 Date of First Registration 01 10 1938 Year of Manufacture Not Available Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1259CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BROWN -- Last edit: 2016-07-04 22:19:10 |
