Much too new for "1945". No idea if 23ER97 is genuine - in 2nd thumb rear plate looks like 27EW97. |

Nearest I can find to compere is 28ER89,allso a reg plate of a RL,so presume genuine army reg. |

23ER42 was also a Bedford RL GS 'ER' for 'B' and 'D' army vehicles 1965/66 (Bedford grille is from February 1957). EW, EV, EU or EY were used for C class vehicles (earth moving) so are not likely for the GS trucks I believe. (it looks like 23ER97 again to me in second thumbnail) -- Last edit: 2015-11-04 13:08:30 |
