Austin Loadstar would have the wing-form running through the door also. Everything seen suggests it to be a Bedford A-type. That is if its definitely British rather than another European make... |

Like lightninboy, I first thought about a COE truck from the 1947-53 Chevrolet Advanced-Design / GMC New Design truck lines (Chevrolet 5x00 were COE models). But the footboard under the cab would then be different, this first idea is only due to the non-visible hood. Just saying, the Bedford A Type, the Chevrolet Advance Design, the GMC New Design, and the Opel Blitz are mostly the same truck, they are made by General Motors, they are just produced for different markets.
