Yes, called 100A on Dutch market. |

I think the name was rather Cherry 100A. In Autokampioen (the main car magazine in Holland) #23, 5 June 1971 this car is introduced as Datsun Cherry (without 100A). Issue #33 of 1971 gives a road test (but I', sorry I don't have this issue), in #35 (28 August 1971) the stationwagon version is introduced, still only as Datsun Cherry. But in the rather reliable Dutch year catalogue Autotest 1973 it is listed as Cherry 100A... |

Did you get the coupe in NL?? The 100A name becomes significant if/when that version arrives, as it was a 1.2 litre 120A version. |

I think the Coupé version came late 1973. In my 1974 Dutch car catalogue Autotest they say: "De 120A Coupé is de coupé-versie van de 100A, die tot vorig jaar nog hoofdzakelijk onder de naam Cherry door het leven ging." ("The 120A Coupé is the Coupé version of the 100A, Which until last year was mainly known under the name Cherry"). |
