Difficult one to capture - seen in two excepts from this footage, but has screen caption in the way for most of time. AEC grille?? |

Agreed it's hard to tell without date/context of that film clip. I would have said Matador but I understand they all had a horizontal bar across the lower 1/3 of the windscreen for the opening frame, that leads me to think Militant but they weren't introduced until '52? It's definitely not a Marshall as they had a completely squared off windscreen frame. |

The film strongly suggests the sequence is 1945, but does not actually nail down where/when. This is the caption in place for context![]() with the quaint and until recently almost totally forgotten idea that the Labour party had socialist principles. This bus is part of same footage, but only appears at different point in film - /vehicle_870771-AEC-Regent-STL.html - so it must be London. |
