Le Car was an edition name in UK (as in "Renault 5 Le Car" and "... Le Car 2") for 1984 run-out editions of this first-shape body, and I think used in other countries as well. Not sure what 5s were sold in Aus, but this looks high level - alloys, side trim, roof aerial, maybe bronze tints, front spoiler with fogs - could be TX?? |

The alloys indicate 1982-1984 5 TX / TX Automatic indeed. Color & headrests confirm. However side claddings are unusual. |
