I don´t know about the french market, but in Scandinavia and of course Germany they sold as Kapitän, Admiral and Diplomat with this body as 1965 to 1968 year models. |

The differences between the Kapitän, Admiral and Diplomat was based on differing standard and optional equipment (+ grilles, trim, etc.) and in the Diplomat, a V8 engine (from Chevrolet). |

I looked at it again, and found that it´s probably an Opel emblem in the right upper corner of the grille. That came with the 1966 model and the new engine. |
