Plate is KX or RX 8038 = 1932. Another taxi - different but doesn't really deserve a page

The taxi in the thumbs might be one of the circa 1923 Unics. I am guessing the one in the main pic is an Austin.

Austin 12/4 Taxi 'High Lot' Jones Body.
The registration should probably be GX if registered by Mann & Overton Ltd the only distributors for Austin taxis. GX4691 to GX4740 or GX9641 to GX9690

Not completely certain but the taxi in the thumbnails looks very like the Belsize 14-16hp taxi by the radiator and bonnet. However the Belsize was not sold I believe after 1930, the registration looks to me it could be 'BY ????' London - Croydon before 1922?

I think a potential candidate for a 1929 Morris G-Type International in the main picture?

1) Without headlights - sidelights appear correct
2) body seems OK
3) bonnet louvres uncertain but could be correct
4) filming date makes a 1929-1932 taxi likely

^ Agree. I'm not up to speed on the body styles amongst the various makes, but the Morris G-Type seems to have distinctive shallow rear side windows and a higher-than-everything-else waistline, before an abrupt cliff down to the drivers door. And this could well have the G-Type's black-and-tan colour scheme.

edit comment removed applies to thumbnails only for the KX or RX 8038 registration.

I continue to however think that with better than 75% certainty this is 1929 Morris-Commercial G-Type International

Added to main movie comments as a possible Belsize Taxi (the radiator is typical of Belsize taxis).
