Two ELs in one movie? Surely that's a bit unusual even by Canadian standards? |

I wouldn't say so, they're not that rare in Canada. The EL was actually Acura's top seller in Canada for almost its whole production run, according to Wikipedia. |

I think this was the car I thought was a Nexia. |

I am going to agree with Acura EL. May I suggest a regroup with: /vehicle_834224-Acura-EL-ES3-1997.html |

So it's not unusual, and don't call you Shirley? |

Did Canada get the same mid to late '90s Protégé as America? It resembles that. -- Last edit: 2016-05-05 03:03:16 |

if we are talking about the green parked car, its nothing else but an Acura 1.6 EL http://auto-database.com/image/pictures-of-acura-el-1998-316491.jpg -- Last edit: 2016-05-05 03:31:10 |

yes we did...and i saw more than my share of both to call it Acura EL the Protegé you are referring to is 1995-1996 ( 1997-1998 had it right aside the headlight ) and has turn signal in the bumper and not under like the EL http://momentcar.com/images/mazda-protege-1996-5.jpg -- Last edit: 2016-05-05 03:51:33 |

Wrong chassis code. [MB4] is the 1997-2000. [ES3] is for the 2001-2005 models with the D17 VTEC (but as we know with Honda the code depends on the drivetrain/motor). |

EL had only one engine unlike the Civic |
