Une jolie rue sans enseigne franchisée...et dire qu'on trouvait ça triste parfois, en voyant ce bel "A l'Arc en Ciel", je me dis qu'on a pas toujours gagné au change ![]() |

Looking closely at the bootlid, there's a rectangular badge between the boot handle and the Mini badge. In these first MkIII Minis sold in Portugal, this was the Austin or Morris badge ( other than this, the cars were undistinguishable ). Apparently, it was the same in France: acccording to "L' AUTOMOBILE" ( 317, Salon, Oct. 72 ) the Minis are listed with the two brands - and it seems it was the last year it happened. |

Since you mentioned it, the "Salon 73" magazine mixes under the patronime British Leyland UK MIni versions with specific Innocenti ones like the 1001 or the Cooper 1300. |

So this one should be listed as Austin (or Morris) Mini ? |

Judging by the two bootlid badges ( the one below the boot handle must say Austin or Morris ), I would say so. -- Last edit: 2007-03-07 20:44:30 |
