I think plate is VV 6x79, = Northamptonshire 1937-38 - can't read x to give one year or the other. Seems to have "The Wiltshire Creameries" on headboard, which is unexpected for a Northants-plated truck in probable Northants location. |

Trolleybuses close to Wiltshire could suggest Portsmouth (1934-), Bournemouth (1933-) or Reading (1936-) but not Northampton I think? WV series registration allocated to the Wiltshire area? Albion yes, could be KL127 between 3½ and 4½ tons. -- Last edit: 2016-06-07 11:48:18 |

WV plate would make sense as Wiltshire series, but I can't really say what the first letter is onscreen. It would give a late 1934 to early 1935 date - the changeover occurred at WV 6776. None of the plates in this sequence are clear enough for solid clue to location. |

From the 1938 Ford Eight [7Y] London registration and appearance of the trolleybuses, filming of this piece could be London. I know little about London Transport Trolleybuses but it is possibly the rear of a 'LT Diddler' |
