![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The one in the second set of images seems to be more similar to the one of the first movie: /vehicle.php?id=448851 (all are supposed to be the same car, though, at different times) I wonder if they imported the car to the USA for filming, or if these desert scenes were filmed in Europe (e.g. Spain) In one of the scenes they cross paths with a Ford motorhome: ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-06-21 20:29:43 |

funny, they're going to Nevada with it... ![]() |

Even if not the same, then except the wheels has similar trim: /vehicle_448851-Renault-21-Nevada-X48-1993.html On the back is written only "Renault Nevada" w/o 21 - in fact it was the name of the late ones. -- Last edit: 2016-06-21 20:36:32 |

Same here (though just Savanna rather than Nevada). Worth changing how they're listed? |

I think it is. However I had similar idea in the past, but then, as I remember, sometihng stopped me, unfortunately I don't remember what it was - what was the reason. ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-06-21 20:55:07 |

If we have the exact year of the change, we could. But wasn't the "21" still kept in some commercial documents? It is a little like the Mégane Scénic: they didn't drop the "Mégane" part everywhere at the same time... |

Wikipedia reports May 1993 as the exact moment when the 21 Nevada became simply "Nevada" |

Yes it had to be May/mid 1993 - that's what is to find about it. Intersting might be that, by what I remember, "21" badge could be removed from wagon even (a bit) earlier. I own 1994 MY Renault model range brochure (from Renault's official representation) - 4-dr sedan is still mentioned there - it is named "Renault 21", but wagon is named simply "Renault Nevada". BUT for sure there are also some mid-93 to 95 materials where wagon is still called "21 Nevada", especially if for example brochure was not made by Renault, but by importer itself. Such lack of consistency isn't rare in car related paper materials. However most important is IMHO that there are informations about this subtle renaming, there was rebadging and there are also brochures which follow this name change. |

I was thinking something similar for the Alfa Romeo 33 Sport Wagon: post-facelift models (1991+) had only the script "Sport Wagon" on the rear, and even official brochures and ads reported only this name, without the "33". |

This is true. Have 05/1991 brochure, but didn't notice this before:![]() It is treated as a separate model line. This + new badging would be for me enough to change their name, BUT it needs to be added that e.g. at these pics, which look for official Alfa promo/press materials, "facelifts" are still called 33: Link to "www.autolit.eu" Link to "www.autolit.eu" (In the web is to find also similar promo pic where it is called only "Sport Wagon".) |

And moreover, the official denomination of the 33 was 'Alfa 33' until the 1986 facelift, as reported in official documentations and on the rear scripts. Same thing was for the earliest 75s, officially called 'Alfa 75'. |

Yes in case of 75 it was even mentioned and discussed in the past, but finally it stayed as "75" for all model years (doesn't mean that it is unchangeable). /vehicle_70278-Alfa-Romeo-75-162B-1989.html /vehicle_59244-Alfa-Romeo-75-162B-1985.html /vehicle_3653-Alfa-Romeo-75-162B-1985.html |

Le modèle est différent du premier film. Les immatriculations diffèrent mais correspondent bien à des R21 Nevada. Dans le premier, c'est un modèle 1.7 du 1995. Dans celui-ci, c'est un modèle 2.1D de septembre 1994. |
