Sierra name is used only since 1988 ( but was before as a trim level ) before that it was only C/K like Chevy did until 1998. Pretty sure this one is a K ( 4x4 ) but i don't know the number tha follows |

As said by Baube just above, no Sierra as model name until 1988. And no Sierra Classic (as model name too) until 1999. The only possibilities are: either a 1973-86 C/K-Series or a 1987 R/V-Series. Raised body means a K-Series, as already said above. The short bed indicates then a K-1500 (or K-15 if a 1975-80 model). The pickup seems also to have the 1973-80 flat hood, and it has for sure the 1979+ fuel filer flap: a 1979-80 model? → 1979 K-15 |
