IIRC it was called the GTI Turbo, from 1986 onwards, at least in France. |

The "T" was indeed to meet on "GTI Turbo" (s.1 - 1985, s.2 - 1986) and "GTI Turbo 2" (s.2 - 1987 MY+) and absent on turbo diesels. Why do you think it is the facelifted, 1986+ car? -- Last edit: 2016-07-30 10:50:22 |

Yes, by what I see some have it (today), but it is not to see in period brochures or other promo pics: example. Thing doesn't look too attractive maybe they didn't want to scare people away in promo materials... Perhaps it was some extra, this way you can put this also on every other CX and if it makes sense to put it only on the diesels, then the "T" badge is not from this car. |
