There are styling hints of 1939-ish Chrysler product but maybe it is something Russian? |

I don't think those headlights came with the car. Almost looks like somebody retrofitted lights off a '40. |

The lights have more of an oval shape when viewed head-on. Found an example of round lights in the oval openings. Question is who put them there. Here's another with lights very much like the car at the top of this page. And quite a bit more chrome. -- Last edit: 2016-08-04 23:52:46 |

"All 1939 Dodge models were called Luxury Liners, while their official title was Series D-11." (The Dodge Story, Crestline, pg 120) There were 2 distinct series, a Special Series (business coupe and 2 and 4 door sedan) and a DeLuxe Series. Models still had no specific names. |
