 This is a very early Allegro so it probably has the notorious and short lived quartic steering wheel. 642,350 Allegro's were built between 1973 and 1983 at Birmingham and as many people forget Belgium.

 Horizontal bar grille was 1100 version. Vertical bars 1300 and Honeycomb 1500/1750 on MkIs but police versions may have been different.

 Not quite - horizontal bars was Deluxe (1100 and 1300), vertical pips = Super deluxe (1300 only), hexagon was everything 1500 and 1750 (including 1500 Super deluxe) and then absolutely everything from Oct 75 Mk2 facelift.

This one is fine as 1300 DL.
