This front layout was used by many manufacturers. Why not Elmore? Others were: Pierce-Arrow, American Simplex, Marmon, Mercer (they didn't build only Raceabouts...)Lozier, Kissel who would soon switch to a very rounded hood) Locomobile, Peerless, Stutz, even Cadillac or Studebaker... |

I agree many manufacturers used this look but most of the ones you mention were bigger cars. The car in the pic is quite compact but could be one of many makes available at that time. |
