Where did they get all these vans ? Was the Ram Van available in Germany or did the US embassy have a garage sale ? |

Did the USAFE use those vans in civilian colors ? In my young days, they only had VW T3s in olive drab with white markings on the doors. |

I think the US Air Force had a crapton of these (same with the ford E-Series since it's 1983 inception) and sold off a lot of them a few years ago. |
