All Dodge, as well as Plymouth and Chrysler, sold in Sweden were, mainly because of exchange rates, shipped in boxes to Sweden and assemblied at ANA in Nyköping, using as much Swedish parts as possible. Hence cars can be rather different compare with U.S. models. The assembling took place from roughly 1931 until the early 1960's albeit some models towards the end were shipped as is and more luxurious models were assemblied rather late. Not forgetting the police Valiants. Hence a "assemblied in Sweden" is needed. |

@Zodiac; For that matter, Chrysler Corporation was fond of mixing-and-matching parts from different models on export cars. Most commonly this would take the form of a Plymouth body, chassis/wheelbase and engine with a Dodge, Chrysler or DeSoto nameplate (and sometimes "face"). |
