![]() ![]() Genuine footage of Dream Alliance's first big race at Newbury in 2004. I assume both white ones in main are the same, although one on left looks poverty trim in comparison. |

Both Ford Maverick/Nissan Terrano II. Did the Terrano ever come with the alloys on the front one or were they only for the Ford? |

Are they alloys on the front one?? Or just steel wheels with trims?? |

I think they both are base spec... |

looks more like a Terrano II for me. |

Whatever they are, they only seem to be found on 1993-95 Maverick GLXs and look like they're bolted on: /vehicle_61810-Ford-Maverick-R20-1993.html /vehicle_866396-Ford-Maverick-R20-1993.html I've looked through the Terranos on here and on Google images and not seen one with them. But those cars are identical from the side. Also dubious about this 1997 identification. The facelift ones had heavier arch lips that neither of those in the main image seem to have: /vehicle_38988-Nissan-Terrano-II-R20-1996.html /vehicle_582494-Ford-Maverick-R20-1997.html -- Last edit: 2016-12-20 16:32:21 |

I think I agree with Sandie for Maverick, and an early one. There was a base spec below GLX from July 93 launch, which was renamed Aspen in May 95 (when it got chrome grill bar and door handles, canvas spare wheel cover and front fogs). GLX always had alloys according to Glass's at least, plus front fogs and headlamp washers. May 95 revamp bought new dished alloys, body colour bumpers/mirrors alongside the other Aspen tweaks, then July 96 renamed GLS with new front grille/round lights/bonnet etc. So my best guess is a very early basic on the left, and a May 95 to July 96 GLX on right. |
