 Sometimes there is a disrepancy between the year listed at the end of the credits and what it says everywhere else (not just IMDB but Film Guide books etc.). Like with Reservoir Dogs I think it says 1991, but on IMDB it says 1992 (it says it premiered at Sundance in January '92 - so they probably finished the final edit some weeks before) I don't know if they go by the date of first release or something else.

 Depends on the movie (or tv show). Some, like this one aren't that bad compared to other movies.
