Is someone still working at this? |

Apparently, for the US broadcasts some if not all of the episodes of this series were fitted with new opening sequences/credits (and sometimes title). Such new opening credits sequence for Ep. 1.02 extensively features this MG that otherwise does not appear in the episode itself and possibly qualifies for "Seen only in an extra DVD contents": In the episode itself there are no cars except this small backgroundmobile seen immediately after ATV's original opening credits (the house is where the episode takes place and to which the above MG is driving to): -- Last edit: 2023-05-01 01:20:12 |

^ "small backgroundmobile" is Rover P6 Mk1, possibly 3500 P6B. MG is probably pre-war 4-seater, but smallish - maybe a L-Type Magna or K-Type or N-Type Magnette. Despite lots of pics, I'd need to check book photos to pin it down, as they looked very similar. PB Midget also possible. |

I added a few vehicles from episode 1.04 that weren't listed. I hope I didn't exaggerate with some of the backgroundmobiles, as they are rather small and the picture quality is somewhat poor. Here are still three more from this episode where the first two (the partial truck and the bus) seem too small to me, but the car in the third may yet be worth listing: |

Thumb 3 is a Triumph Vitesse. Possible Convertible? -- Last edit: 2023-05-05 10:04:30 |

Yes. Mk2 grille. |

I have now added both vehicles with roles in episode 1.05. The episode also features the rear of what may be a (small?) bus parked outside the Waterloo Station, and what looks to me like a Royal Mail van (two, actually) inside the station: |

^ If the dark blue bus plate is real, it's a Royal Navy (RN) plate, which may be decodeable, but I can't do it. Mail vans in station are both Morris LD - they only used Morris. We've lots of them 1958 onward until late 60s - various specs - plain LD, LD 02, LD 2, LD 360; by early 70s, 1968+ LD 360 may be best bet. |

RN plates cannot be decoded . Navy issued own numbers and were a law unto themselves -- Last edit: 2023-05-08 14:41:10 |

Added both cars from episode 1.09 which also features this glimpse of what looks like archive footage of possibly a royal parade pretending to be the unnamed "man of peace" statesman's parade at the center of the episode's plot: |

Added a Rover from episode 1.10 which also includes a glimpse of this interesting rear: There's also a bit of what looks like a Mini to me, and it's the setting of an important scene inside it, but we see very little of it as it's near pitch black darkness: With this I think all cars worth mentioning/listing from series 1 are here. -- Last edit: 2023-06-03 02:13:48 |

^ rear is Triumph Stag, higher front bumper on Mini means a Clubman. |
