dsl ◊ 2021-02-22 20:39	Strange - seems to be a van version, which I haven't heard of before and can't find any info for anything this early (film date) and with plain pillars before 1973 black vinyl added. Later 70s/early 80s seems there were local Commercials in some small export markets. This one looks a bit like early motorway police style, but with no police equipment or livery. Entering as Van until further info available. There's an interesting UK oddity here - a brown 1983 van B387 YAR - "1983 Range Rover Classic Commercial ... sold originally to the Metropolitan Police in London, factory painted in Russet Brown as verified by a BMIHT certificate .... We have contacted James Taylor who is a main writer for Land Rover Owner Magazine and is very keen on unusual Land Rover vehicles, and he thinks it may have been something to do with one of the Cold War bunkers near London."

Can I detect some lettering on the rear wing? The rear-glass upper tailgate is left open. Can I see a roof mounted spare wheel?
