 Probably because they were rather the "Kings of total mechanical breakdown and self-destruction", I suppose. The only thing that they had in common with speed as such was that something always went tragically wrong very, very quickly. At least that's what JfS told me.. :whistle:

As I wobble gently into my eighth decade of life I also thank the excellent services of the N.H.S. and whatever higher being may have helped that I am still wobbling. My recent treatment must have cost about £100,000 (two multi hour operations and a total of ten weeks in hospital). Being a Brit sometimes has its good points.

Agreed about the value of the NHS jfs, it is also I think having its own 70th birthday (in July?) so celebrations all round.
