Filmed in Glasgow - one of the last Peter McDougall TV films after his 1970s Play for Today series (see separate entries). An easily watchable Sunday evening drama more than thriller - not as dark as his earlier stuff, nor the social conflict of those at the bottom of the ladder.

Can anyone figure this one out??

I think it's a Nissan Sunny but can't trace a 2-door in UK listing, nor a special edition with that stripey sticker on rear pillar. Looks like a Nissan dealer logo on sticker in rear window.

1* Metro zoomy version at 28-30 - tempted to give it a page for reference detail if anyone can precisely ID it??

 The only Sunny/Sentra that has this kind of "roof-covering" door is the (1991–1994) B13 model. But the overall style of the door doesn't fit...
