Confirmed vehicles so far, according to the director: |

I always found the beast transformers to be really weird. I expected them to be robot animals that would somehow rearrange to transform into vehicles, but no, they're kaijus with half of a gaping dinosaur head stuck to their leg. |

i always liked Beast Wars ... as a Transformers cartoon fan i thought it was unusual but interesting alternative back in the 90's |

Autobots: Optimus Prime is a Freightliner FLA (similar to the one used in Bumblebee, but with a shorter cab) Bumblebee is a second generation 1975-1977 Chevrolet Camaro Mirage is a 1993-1994 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS 3.8 (I believe they had one or two real ones, but they also had to use a few replicas since the RS 3.8 is worth over a million dollars, with only 55 made, and they messed up some cars doing stunt work) Arcee is a Ducati 916 Wheeljack is a Volkswagen Type 2 (T1) Terrorcons: Scourge is a Peterbilt 359 (at least one was from 1978) Nightbird is a Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33) Battletrap is I guess a first generation GMC TopKick, but I’ve also seen trucks with what looks like the same cab labeled as C70, 5000, 6000, 6500, and 7000, and since the Battletrap trucks had their badges on the sides replaced with Terrorcon emblems, I’m not sure if there’s any way to tell exactly which they used (and they could have used a mix) |

Trailer was released today. https://youtu.be/iUHAObplk4k I see someone has already published the pictures, so they should show up once an admin approves them. |

Set in 1994 per Wikipedia, which makes the "Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33)" appearance jarring since while the base R33 Skylines debuted in '93, the GT-Rs weren't due till January of 1995... |

It's still unconfirmed whether or not the Skyline is an actual GT-R. It could potentially be a standard Skyline GTS with a GT-R body kit. We will have to wait until the film releases to verify. -- Last edit: 2022-12-05 22:16:26 |

It's a GT-R. You can see the badge in this picture: Link to "news.tfw2005.com" The R33 GT-R prototype did exist and was displayed at the 30th Tokyo Motor Show 1993, but Nightbird has the front from the production model. -- Last edit: 2022-12-07 09:26:56 |
