 Just watched it last night - it's actually Roxanne Arlen's backside in that shot. The Alpine is driven by Terry-Thomas all through the film, with some scenes involving it directly, so I'd give it four stars. If the license plate PCH 548 is original to the car (it's definitely not a fake), this is probably a '59 Series I - and an early one at that, with the first letter being P.
